Fire Science Scholarship

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

(Qualifications Listed Below Are Very Important or Could Be Disqualified)

1. The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must plan to begin his or her first year of college training in the field of firefighting in the fall immediately after receipt of the scholarship.
   
2. The candidate must have maintained a C+ (2.5) or better grade average. Preference will
   be given to students who have financial aid and who have not received many other scholarships.
3. An update or progress report will be required from each winning applicant following the
   completion of the first year of schooling. Failure to produce a progress report will disqualify the applicant from scholarships to further their education.
