Members of the association receive this publication in the mail every other month as part of their membership.

Submittal of Articles to the Wisconsin Fire Journal

The Wisconsin Fire Journal is a bi-monthly publication serving firefighters throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Typical articles include department profiles, education, health, training, regional and people in the news, convention coverage, plus any other topic of interest to the fire service.

Potential articles of interest include-

New products or services, recent deliveries, and purchases
“How to” articles”
New technology
Relationships within the fire department
Fire History
Points of interest, museums, new facilities, etc.

All articles are reviewed by the Journal staff, to determine accuracy and relevance You will be advised if accepted or changes required

Tip: read back issues for style or content

Note: We occasionally will pay for articles depending on complexity. Payment usually runs $100 to $300. Requests for payment must be in advance of article submission.

Wisconsin State Firefighters Association has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
